Mike Denning

Mike Denning is Chief Product Officer (CPO) at Trinity Cyber. His background includes more than 25 years of experience in the cybersecurity industry, with a proven track record of leading security-focused business units and product teams across in early stage startups and large organizations. Prior to joining Trinity Cyber, Mike was the CEO of SecureG a cybersecurity company focused on critical infrastructure leveraging next generation networking use cases.

Before SecureG, Mike served as a partner at Blue Ventures and helped the firm raise its first fund in 2021. At Blu Ventures, he served on the Cyber Seed Fund Investment Committee and the first Cyber Fund Investment Committee. He was the lead partner for seven cybersecurity focused investments, serving as a board member and board observer for several early stage portfolio companies.

Prior to Blu Ventures, Mike was the COO of ScienceLogic, a late-stage AI Operations delivered SaaS platform. Before ScienceLogic, Mike was the VP of the Global Security business for Verizon Enterprise Services, where he oversaw all enterprise managed security services. He has also held executive leadership roles as the SVP and General Manager of the security business unit for CA Technologies and the Managed Security Services business for VeriSign.

Early in Mike’s career he served as a field artillery officer in the US Army. Mike is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and earned his MBA from Johns Hopkins University.
