Meet Thomas P. Bossert

Tom Bossert is President and co-founder of Trinity Cyber, Inc., a cybersecurity company that provides a centrally managed global security platform that protects businesses from cyberattacks with the first ever real time Full Content Inspection (FCI) technology. Trinity Cyber was recognized by Gartner as a Cool Vendor and as a disruptive startup changing the approach to a historically mature security category. Tom has guided the company’s strategic growth and operations during a period of large scale commercial and government expansion in North America and Australia.
Tom is also a national security analyst for ABC News and a respected risk management expert. He has a distinguished track record in both government and private industry. His career has been marked by dynamic leadership roles, most notably serving as the Homeland Security Advisor to two U.S. Presidents, responsible for managing enterprise and operational risk for the United States for threats of terrorism, cyber-attack, transnational crime, chemical weapons, biological contagions, and natural disasters. He holds a reputation for his strategic approach to risk management and for his articulate communication skills.
Tom was born and raised in Quakertown, PA. He is a Distinguished Fellow at the Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security at the U.S. Atlantic Council, and Senior Fellow at the Auburn University McCrary Institute for Cyber and Critical Infrastructure Security. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh and his law degree from The George Washington University Law School. He was a Comparative Political and Economic Systems Scholar at Georgetown University and guest lectures at the Naval Post Graduate School Center for Homeland Defense and Security.
